This just in: the sound of running water makes one feel one to two degrees cooler. After six days over 100 degrees, I could really go for a break. Spent a good portion of the weekend keeping my potted plants hydrated (such excitement!).

I had the same kind of excitement. Joy. Even Hezekiah thought it was too hot out - which freaked me out a bit when she came in at 11am - that cat LOVES the heat. It's been triple digits for days.
Can I soak my feet in your picture? Want to. So much.
